No shocking result in a game in Saint Petersburg where seventh ranked Ural Ekaterinburg (19-12) defeated 13th ranked Zenit-Farm (4-25) 76-61 on Friday. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Pavel Aleksandrov (192-89) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 7 rebounds and forward Aleksey Ostrovskiy (202-93) who added 17 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Ural Ekaterinburg players scored in double figures. The former international center Andrey Desiatnikov (221-94, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 15 rebounds and Grigory Motovilov (194-98, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) scored 9 points and 6 assists. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Ural Ekaterinburg moved-up to sixth place. Zenit-Farm lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the thirteenth position with 25 games lost. Ural Ekaterinburg will meet Spartak St.Petersburg (#12) in the next round where they are favorite. Zenit-Farm will play against TEMP-SUMZ Revda and hope to secure a win.
