There was no surprise in Troistorrents where 6th ranked Riva (6-10) was defeated by second ranked BBC Troist. (11-5) 68-59 on Saturday. BBC Troist. looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Armenian guard Sarah Halejian (175-92, college: Yale) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and Canadian center Abigail Fogg (196-94, college: S.Dakota, agency: LBM Management) who added 15 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American guard Kelly Moten (173-93, college: Emporia St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and her fellow American import forward Elan Brown (183-91, college: Vanderbilt) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. BBC Troist. maintains second position with 11-5 record having just three points less than leader Fribourg. Riva at the other side keeps the sixth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Helios. BBC Troist. will meet bottom-ranked Geneve Basket (#8) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Riva will play against Helios and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
