Cegledi EKK was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Ivey Slaughter (186-94, college: Florida St.) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds. Her fellow American import center Shelby Cheslek (196-92, college: Gonzaga) accounted for 11 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. PINKK-Pecsi's coach Jens Tillman allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Serbian point guard Jovana Popovic (173-90) came up with 15 points and 5 assists and international guard Dora Medgyessy (174-86) added 8 points and 8 assists respectively for Cegledi EKK in the defeat. PINKK-Pecsi maintains eighth place with 7-11 record. Loser Cegledi EKK keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. PINKK-Pecsi will meet at home league's leader Sopron Basket in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Cegledi EKK will play against ZTE NKK (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
