Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Moscow: MBA (#6) and Dynamo Moscow (#7). Dynamo Moscow was defeated at home 65-80 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Dynamo Moscow. They outrebounded Dynamo Moscow 47-30 including 18 on the offensive glass. Center Olga Gorbacheva (192-88, agency: LBM Management) notched a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and international point guard Karina Nizamova (170-92) supported her with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Five MBA players scored in double figures. Even 12 points and 8 rebounds by American center Kelsey Lang (196-95, college: Texas) did not help to save the game for Dynamo Moscow. Forward Albina Razheva (189-94, agency: LBM Management) added 13 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. MBA (8-9) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Enisey. Dynamo Moscow at the other side dropped to the eighth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Dynamo NR. MBA will play against league's leader Dynamo Kursk at home in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Dynamo Moscow will play against the league's second-placed UMMC Ekaterinburg (#2) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
