Regular Season Round 21: Falco-Vulcano - DEAC 95-86

Very expected game when 12th ranked DEAC (6-15) lost to third ranked Falco-Vulcano (15-5) in Szombathely 86-95 on Wednesday. DEAC trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 23-19 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 86-95 at the end of the game. Falco-Vulcano looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a good game for international swingman Zoltan Perl (195-95, agency: BeoBasket) who led his team to a victory with 22 points and 6 assists. International point guard Darrin Govens (185-88, college: St.Joseph's) contributed with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American forward Isaiah Armwood (206-90, college: G.Washington) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and Montenegrin point guard Goran Martinic (187-87) added 23 points and 4 assists in the effort for DEAC. Five Falco-Vulcano and four DEAC players scored in double figures. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Falco-Vulcano. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Kormend. DEAC lost their tenth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with 15 games lost. Falco-Vulcano will face ZTE KK (#5) in Zalaegerszeg in the next round. DEAC will play at home against Sopron KC (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
