Regular Season Round 21: Sopron KC - Atomeromu 87-99

No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Atomeromu (12-9) beat on the road bottom-ranked Sopron KC (4-17) 99-87 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Atomeromu. Sopron KC was better in third quarter 20-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Atomeromu shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 58.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a good game for American guard Ricky Tarrant (188-93, college: Memphis) who led his team to a victory with 26 points and 6 assists. International power forward Janos Eilingsfeld (198-91) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. American swingman Muhammad El-Amin (196-87, college: Stony Brook) answered with 28 points and 4 assists and the other American import Esian Henderson (205-86, college: Central Mo., agency: Octagon Europe) added 16 points in the effort for Sopron KC. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Atomeromu moved-up to fifth place, which they share with ZTE KK. Loser Sopron KC stay at the bottom position with 17 games lost. Atomeromu will face higher ranked Alba (#4) in Szekesfehervar in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sopron KC will play on the road against DEAC (#12) in Debrecen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
