Very expected game in Budapest where 13th ranked MAFC (4-18) was defeated by seventh ranked KTE-Duna (12-9) 90-81. MAFC was ahead by 1 point after three quarters before a 24-14 charge of KTE-Duna, which allowed them to win the game. 24 personal fouls committed by MAFC helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Bernard Thompson (191-93, college: FGCU) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 9 rebounds. Serbian center Rastko Dramicanin (208-86) contributed with 25 points for the winners. American forward Toney McCray (196-89, college: Nebraska) replied with 23 points and 9 rebounds and Montenegrin guard Amin Hott (192-92) added 12 points and 14 assists in the effort for MAFC. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. MAFC's coach Jovica Arsic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. KTE-Duna moved-up to fifth place. MAFC lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom position with 18 games lost. KTE-Duna's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Kormend at home and it may be quite challenging game. MAFC will play against Szedeak (#10) in Szeged and hope to win that game.
