Falco-Vulcano managed to secure a 5-point victory 81-76 on Saturday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But ZTE KK won third quarter 25-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. International point guard Darrin Govens (185-88, college: St.Joseph's) fired 17 points for the winners. Montenegrin swingman Milos Borisov (201-85) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds. American point guard James Kinney (187-90, college: San Jose St.) produced 16 points and 4 assists and his fellow American import guard Deonta Vaughn (184-86, college: Cincinnati, agency: Interperformances) added 17 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Falco-Vulcano have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Kormend. Loser ZTE KK keeps the sixth position with ten games lost. They share it with Atomeromu. Falco-Vulcano will meet at home PVSK-Veolia (#8) in the next round where they are favorite. ZTE KK will play against DEAC in Debrecen and hope to secure a win.
