Rather predictable result in Szekesfehervar where fourth ranked Alba (14-6) defeated 6th ranked Atomeromu (12-10) 89-82. Atomeromu was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Alba players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Trevis Simpson (193-91, college: NC-Greensboro, agency: 3Eye) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international power forward Peter Lorant (206-85, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. International power forward Janos Eilingsfeld (198-91) replied with 19 points and 8 rebounds and American point guard Jabarie Hinds (180-92, college: Massachusetts, agency: Two Points) added 20 points and 4 assists in the effort for Atomeromu. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains fourth position with 14-6 record. Atomeromu at the other side keeps the sixth place with ten games lost. Alba's next round opponent will be Sopron KC (#13) on the road and are hoping to win another game. Atomeromu will play against JP-Auto JKSE (#11) and hope to win that game.
