Leader Dyn-Magn.ChL delivered the twenty fourth victory on Tuesday night. This time they crushed 5th ranked Dynamo-MGTU (13-19) 90-68 in Maykop. Dyn-Magn.ChL forced 21 Dynamo-MGTU turnovers. Worth to mention a quality performance of guard Aleksandr Matveev (194-91) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 7 assists and 4 steals (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and point guard Aleksey Osokin (178-89) who added 15 points and 5 assists during the contest. Four Dyn-Magn.ChL players scored in double figures. Power forward Sergey Balashov (206-96, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) responded with 18 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Artem Gaposhin (184-91) scored 21 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dyn-Magn.ChL (24-6) have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Loser Dynamo-MGTU keeps the fifth place with 19 games lost. Dyn-Magn.ChL will meet Arsenal (#4) in the next round. Dynamo-MGTU will play against Cheb.Yastreby in Cheboksari and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
