Superleague 1 top team - BC Rostov (22-5) added another victory to their record on Friday. This time they beat seventh ranked Stavropol (10-17) 68-63. The best player for the winners was forward Eleonora Oleynikova (178-98) who scored 16 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. Power forward Alexandra Kirina (190-96) chipped in 10 points and 6 rebounds. BC Rostov's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Albina Khamitova (186-94) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Galina Novoselceva (170-79) added 12 points respectively for the guests. Four Stavropol players scored in double figures. BC Rostov have an impressive series of six victories in a row. BC Rostov maintains first place with 22-5 record. Stavropol lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 17 games lost. BC Rostov will again meet at home Stavropol (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Stavropol will have a break next round.
