The game in Pecs was also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Miskolc (12-7) played at the court of 7th ranked PEAC-Pecs (8-11). Miskolc managed to secure a 6-point victory 76-70 on Friday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 21-18. But PEAC-Pecs won second period 20-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Miskolc looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American point guard Ashleigh Fontenette (172-89, college: Texas) stepped up and scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and international forward Dorina Zele (185-92) chipped in 17 points. Four Miskolc players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Nigerian forward Sarah Imovbioh (188-92, college: S.Carolina) with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 17 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Serbian point guard Sanja Mandic (178-95, agency: BeoBasket) scored 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Miskolc moved-up to fourth place, which they share with ZTE NKK. Loser PEAC-Pecs keep the seventh position with 11 games lost. Miskolc will meet at home bottom-ranked BEAC-Ujbuda (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. PEAC-Pecs will play against the league's leader Atomeromu (#1) and hope to secure a win.
