Regular Season Round 23: JP-Auto JKSE - Alba 82-72

An interesting game took place in Jaszberenyi, where 4th placed Alba (14-7) lost to eleventh ranked JP-Auto JKSE (8-14) in a road game 72-82. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Alba. The game was mostly controlled by JP-Auto JKSE. Alba was better in fourth quarter 22-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Alba 38-21 including 30 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Devante Wallace (196-92, college: High Point) who led the winners and scored 27 points and 7 rebounds. Serbian Uros Lucic (207-83, agency: 011 Sports) accounted for 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Five JP-Auto JKSE players scored in double figures. International power forward Akos Keller (208-89) came up with 20 points and American swingman SirDominic Pointer (198-92, college: St.John's) added 13 points respectively for Alba in the defeat. Alba's coach Branislav Dzunic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. JP-Auto JKSE maintains eleventh place with 8-14 record. Defending champion Alba keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. JP-Auto JKSE's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Sopron KC (#14) on the road. Alba will play against MAFC (#13) and hope to win that game.
