Very important is a road loss of second ranked Samara-2 (27-9) against sixth ranked Parma-2 (16-20) on Sunday night. Visiting Samara-2 was defeated by Parma-2 in a tough game in Perm 73-81. Parma-2 players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Guard Aleksandr Platunov (192-97) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. Forward Sergey Shirokov (202-97) contributed with 20 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Five Parma-2 players scored in double figures. Center Dmitriy Khaldeyev (208-99) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) and forward Filip Stoyko (200-98) added 16 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Samara-2. Samara-2's coach Dmitry Pivtsaykin rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Parma-2 have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain sixth place with 16-20 record. Samara-2 at the other side keeps the second position with nine games lost.
