Sixth-ranked Pully (7-11) gave a tough game to second ranked BBC Troist. (13-5) in Troistorrents on Sunday. BBC Troist. managed to secure only three-point victory 71-68. However their fans expected much easier game. It was a great shooting night for BBC Troist. especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. American-Armenian guard Sarah Halejian (175-92, college: Yale) scored 30 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals to lead the charge for the winners and Hungarian center Andrea Hajdune-Csaszar (196-82, college: Kent St.) chipped in 8 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American center Khadijiah Cave (190-95, college: Baylor) with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 19 rebounds and international forward Meline Franchina (184-98) scored 9 points and 8 assists. BBC Troist. have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 13-5 record having just three points less than leader Fribourg. Pully lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 11 games lost. BBC Troist. are looking forward to face Bellinzona (#4) at home in the next round. Pully will play against Helios and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
