No shocking result in a game in Perm where sixth ranked Parma-2 (16-20) smashed 9th ranked Avtodor-2 (11-23) 107-65 on Thursday. Parma-2 dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Avtodor-2's 50 and made 23-of-24 free shots (95.8 percent) during the game. Parma-2 forced 21 Avtodor-2 turnovers and outrebounded them 44-25 including 29 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Avtodor-2's players. The best player for the winners was forward Sergey Shirokov (202-97) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 24 rebounds. Guard Aleksandr Platunov (192-97) chipped in 17 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. Five Parma-2 players scored in double figures. Forward Grigori Prokofiev (198-0) produced 24 points and forward Saveliy Makarov (200-98) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The victory was the third consecutive win for Parma-2. They maintain sixth place with 16-20 record. Avtodor-2 lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 23 games lost.
