Regular Season Round 25: PVSK-Veolia - Sopron KC 84-57

Very expected game in Pecs where 13th ranked Sopron KC (6-19) was crushed by eighth ranked PVSK-Veolia (12-12) 84-57 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by PVSK-Veolia. Sopron KC was better in third quarter 20-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. PVSK-Veolia had a 34-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 56.5 percentage. PVSK-Veolia looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American guard Devin Brooks (186-92, college: Creighton) stepped up and scored 5 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and swingman Csanad Antoni (194-96, agency: Mansfield and Associates) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. Four PVSK-Veolia players scored in double figures. PVSK-Veolia's coach Ferenc Csirke felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American point guard Adonte Parker (186-89, college: Dayton) responded with 20 points and the other American import power forward Ryan Watkins (206-91, college: Boise St., agency: Two Points) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. PVSK-Veolia maintains eighth place with 12-12 record. Loser Sopron KC dropped to the bottom position with 19 games lost.
