Regular Season Round 19: BBC Troist. - Bellinzona 62-61

Fourth-ranked Bellinzona (9-10) made lots of trouble for second ranked BBC Troist. (14-5) in Troistorrents on Saturday. BBC Troist. managed to secure only one-point victory 62-61. However their fans expected easier game. BBC Troist. forced 19 Bellinzona turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Canadian center Abigail Fogg (196-94, college: S.Dakota, agency: LBM Management) fired 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American-Armenian guard Sarah Halejian (175-92, college: Yale) chipped in 9 points, 7 assists and 5 steals. BBC Troist.'s coach Antoine Mantey used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American forward Chastity Reed (185-89, college: UALR) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds and the other American import forward Jessica Jackson (192-95, college: Arkansas) added 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. BBC Troist. have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain second place with 14-5 record having just three points less than leader Fribourg. Bellinzona at the other side keeps the fourth position with ten games lost. BBC Troist. are looking forward to face league's leader Fribourg on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Bellinzona will play against Geneve Basket and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
