Regular Season Round 21: MBA - Kazanochka 67-73

There was a small surprise in Moscow where seventh ranked Kazanochka (9-11) defeated 5th ranked MBA (9-11) 73-67 on Sunday. Kazanochka made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American Cierra Burdick (188-93, college: Tennessee, agency: LBM Management) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds. The former international swingman Alexandra Stolyar (180-92) chipped in 22 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was international point guard Karina Nizamova (170-92) who recorded 23 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals and center Nina Glonti (188-97) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kazanochka moved-up to sixth place, which they share with defeated MBA.
