Second Stage Round 3: Swiss Central - Lakers 60-59
Date: March 28, 2018
A very interesting game took place in Luzern. It ended with only one-point defeat on the road of Lakers (1-2) to Swiss Central (2-1) 60-59 on Wednesday evening. The best player for the winners was American center Eric Thompson (204-93, college: Pacific) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). Forward Laurent Zoccoletti (201-99) chipped in 8 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Gardner Louissaint (197-91) who recorded 20 points and naturalized DR Congolese guard Cedric Bonga (187-85) added 9 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Lakers' coach Dragan Andrejevic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Swiss Central's next round opponent will be Starwings (#9) in Basel. Lakers will play on the road against Pully and hope to win that game.
