Regular Season Round 40: Zenit-Farm - Samara-SGEU 61-91

Superleague 1 top team - Samara-SGEU (31-7) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed thirteenth ranked Zenit-Farm (5-32) in Saint Petersburg 91-61. Samara-SGEU dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Zenit-Farm's 20. Worth to mention a quality performance of forward Daniil Sinegubov (203-96) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 5 assists and the former international forward Aleksei Zozulin (198-83) who added 16 points during the contest. Samara-SGEU's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Grigory Motovilov (194-98, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) responded with 17 points and forward Lev Bykov (200-99) scored 12 points. Samara-SGEU maintains first position with 31-7 record. Newly promoted Zenit-Farm keeps the thirteenth place with 32 games lost. Samara-SGEU are looking forward to face Spartak St.Petersburg (#12) in Saint Petersburg in the next round which should be another easy win for them.
