Very important is a road loss of second ranked Kormend (18-8) against eighth ranked PVSK-Veolia (13-13) on Thursday night. Visiting Kormend was defeated by PVSK-Veolia in Pecs 89-77. The game was mostly controlled by PVSK-Veolia. Kormend managed to win fourth quarter 23-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Croatian forward Veljko Budimir (199-85) scored 31 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Jabril Durham (185-94, college: Arkansas) chipped in 21 points and 9 assists during the contest. Four PVSK-Veolia players scored in double figures. American guard Eric Fanning (196-92, college: Boston U.) responded with 18 points and the former international Csaba Ferencz (194-85) scored 15 points. PVSK-Veolia have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with ZTE KK and Atomeromu. Loser Kormend dropped to the third position with eight games lost.
