Leader BC Rostov delivered the twenty sixth victory. This time they crushed 8th ranked MBA-2 (8-23) 80-55 in Moscow. BC Rostov shot 22 for 37 from the free-throw line, while MBA-2 only scored six points from the stripe. BC Rostov forced 25 MBA-2 turnovers. MBA-2 was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for power forward Jane-Elizabet Morozova (187-97) who led her team to a victory with 9 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Eleonora Oleynikova (178-98) contributed with 16 points and 4 steals for the winners. Guard Veronika Varlamova (179-96) answered with 9 points and 5 rebounds and center Julia Pavlova (187-99) added 14 points in the effort for MBA-2. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. BC Rostov (26-5) have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. BC Rostov maintains first place. MBA-2 at the other side dropped to the bottom position with 23 games lost. BC Rostov will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. MBA-2 will play again at home against the league's leader BC Rostov (#1) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
