Fifth-ranked UMMC Junior (14-18) was very close to win a game against third ranked Neftyanik (20-12) in Omsk. Neftyanik managed to secure only two-point victory 69-67. However their fans expected easier game. Neftyanik forced 23 UMMC Junior turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Kseniya Kornienko who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and guard Mariya Matvienko (172-94) who added 13 points during the contest. Four Neftyanik players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Elizaveta Komarova (172-95, agency: LBM Management) responded with 21 points and 8 rebounds and Sabina Abaidullina (187-97) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. UMMC Junior's coach Artem Rozhin rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Neftyanik have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 20-12 record having six points less than leader Rostov. UMMC Junior lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 18 games lost.
