Regular Season Round 22: PEAC-Pecs - Atomeromu 67-74

A Division top team - Atomeromu (18-2) added another victory to their record. This time they beat seventh ranked PEAC-Pecs (8-12) 74-67. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 27-22. But PEAC-Pecs won second period 21-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American forward Erica McCall (190-95, college: Stanford, agency: ProDep Management) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Slovenian point guard Teja Oblak (172-90) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists during the contest. Four Atomeromu players scored in double figures. At the losing side Nigerian forward Sarah Imovbioh (188-92, college: S.Carolina) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and Serbian Maja Vucurovic (187-91, agency: ProDep Management) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Atomeromu have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 18-2 record, which they share with Sopron Basket. PEAC-Pecs at the other side keep the seventh place with 12 games lost. They share the position with PINKK-Pecsi.
