The game between closely ranked teams ended with fifth ranked Runa Basket's (13-13) home victory over 6th ranked Rusichi K. (10-16) in Moscow 97-79. Runa Basket made 21-of-26 charity shots (80.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Rusichi K. turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Nikita Gresev (204-88) who had a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. Vladislav Solovyev (195-88) chipped in 18 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Aleksey Kosarkov (188-94) produced 19 points and 4 assists and Artem Popov (205-93) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Rusichi K. players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Runa Basket have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 13-13 record. Rusichi K. at the other side keeps the sixth place with 16 games lost. Runa Basket's next round opponent will be again Rusichi K. (#6) in Kursk.
