Very important is a road loss of third ranked Ufimets Ufa (19-11) against fifth ranked Dynamo-MGTU (13-15) on Sunday night. Visiting Ufimets Ufa was defeated by Dynamo-MGTU in Maykop 93-83. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Ufimets Ufa. Point guard Artem Gaposhin (184-91) fired 35 points (!!!) and 5 assists for the winners. Ukrainian center Nikolay Eremin (205-85) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Evgeny Marinin (192-92) produced 21 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and the former international guard Aleksandr Golyakhov (194-91) added 21 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Dynamo-MGTU moved-up to fourth place. Loser Ufimets Ufa keeps the third position with 11 games lost. Dynamo-MGTU will meet at home Cheb.Yastreby (#4) in the next round. Ufimets Ufa will have a break next round.
