Second Stage Round 2: Szedeak - PVSK-Veolia 80-57

Round 2 most important game was a defeat of PVSK-Veolia (14-14). They were crushed by Szedeak (12-16) 80-57 on Wednesday night. The game was mostly controlled by Szedeak. PVSK-Veolia managed to win second period 13-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Szedeak looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by PVSK-Veolia's players. Serbian guard Andrija Ciric (198-80) scored 21 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Serbian center Nenad Sulovic (202-85, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Croatian forward Veljko Budimir (199-85) responded with 17 points and American guard Jabril Durham (185-94, college: Arkansas) scored 13 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. PVSK-Veolia will play next round against strong ZTE KK trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Szedeak will try to continue on its current victory against Atomeromu in Paks.
