The biggest surprise of round 5 was guest Massagno's (2-3) road victory over 4th placed Neuchatel (1-4) 88-82 on Saturday evening. It was a great shooting night for Massagno especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 60.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was naturalized Senegalese power forward Jules Aw (202-86) who scored 30 points and 9 rebounds. Kenyan forward Tylor Ongwae (199-91, college: La-Monroe) chipped in 26 points. Croatian center Zvonko Buljan (206-87, college: TCU) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists and Serbian center Milovan Rakovic (208-85) added 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Massagno moved-up to fourth place in Places 1-6. Neuchatel lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with Boncourt.
