Second Stage Round 6: DEAC - MAFC 103-81

Date: April 28, 2018
The game between closely ranked teams ended with twelfth ranked DEAC's (11-20) home victory over 13th ranked MAFC (8-23) 103-81. The game was mostly controlled by DEAC. MAFC was better in third quarter 32-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded MAFC 43-28 including 32 on the defensive glass. DEAC players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by MAFC helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward Isaiah Armwood (206-90, college: G.Washington) notched a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) to lead the effort and Montenegrin point guard Goran Martinic (187-87) supported him with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Five DEAC players scored in double figures. Even 23 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists by Montenegrin guard Amin Hott (192-92) did not help to save the game for MAFC. Naturalized Serbian power forward Nebojsa Dukic (206-88, agency: 011 Sports) added 16 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted DEAC maintains twelfth position in Division with 11-20 record. MAFC at the other side keeps the thirteenth place with 23 games lost.
