The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Szolnok (27-6) in Szekesfehervar on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by third ranked Alba (23-11) 84-67. The game without a history. Alba led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Kasey Hill (185-93, college: Florida) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 7 assists and 6 steals and Ghanian guard Alhaji Mohammed (192-81, college: Louisville, agency: 3Eye) who added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Alba's coach Branislav Dzunic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. International swingman David Vojvoda (196-90) responded with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and American point guard Kendrick Perry (183-92, college: Youngstown St.) scored 16 points. Defending champion maintains third position in Division with 23-11 record having three points less than leader Szolnok. Szolnok at the other side still keeps top place with six games lost. Alba will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Szolnok will play at home against the league's second-placed Falco-Vulcano and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
