The best player for the winners was the former international guard Timea Czank (177-86) who scored 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (perfect from downtown making all five shots). American guard Lexie Brown (175-94, college: Duke, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 19 points and 8 assists. Four UNI Gyor players scored in double figures. Power forward Beatrix Meresz (184-99) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds and Dora Szabo (171-95) added 14 points respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. UNI Gyor is looking forward to face ZTE NKK (#6) in Zalaegerszeg in the next round where they are favorite. BEAC-Ujbuda will play on the road against Atomeromu in Szekszard and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
