PVSK-Veolia (3-0) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they beat Kormend (1-2) in Pecs 97-80. PVSK-Veolia made 24-of-30 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was Croatian forward Veljko Budimir (199-85) who scored 25 points and 4 assists. Serbian center Igor Kesar (210-92, agency: Mansfield and Associates) chipped in 24 points and 5 rebounds. Four PVSK-Veolia players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard T.J. Price (193-93, college: W.Kentucky) who recorded 22 points and 5 rebounds and the former international Csaba Ferencz (194-85) added 18 points respectively. PVSK-Veolia will meet KTE-Duna (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kormend will play against Sopron KC and hope to win that game.
