Regular Season Round 3: Szolnok - Sopron KC 81-82

The most surprising game was a loss of Szolnok (2-1) on the court of Sopron KC on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by Sopron KC 82-81. Sopron KC outrebounded Szolnok 38-26 including 23 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for American point guard Angelo Warner (188-92, college: Morehead St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 9 rebounds, 10 assists and 6 steals. American-Jamaican guard Brynton Lemar (193-95, college: Cal-Davis) helped adding 21 points. The best for the losing side was international swingman David Vojvoda (196-90) with 17 points and 5 assists and Serbian forward Strahinja Milosevic (203-85) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sopron KC is looking forward to face Kormend (#9) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Szolnok will play against Kaposvari (#13) and is hoping to win this game.
