Regular Season Round 4: Miskolc - PINKK-Pecsi 101-60

Bottom-ranked PINKK-Pecsi (0-3) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their third consecutive match to fifth ranked Miskolc (3-2) 101-60 on Wednesday evening. Miskolc dominated down low during the game scoring 80 of its points in the paint compared to PINKK-Pecsi's 30. They outrebounded PINKK-Pecsi 45-20 including a 30-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. Miskolc looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by PINKK-Pecsi's players. Worth to mention a great performance of DR Congolese forward Chanel Mokango (196-88, college: Mississippi St., agency: ProDep Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points, 16 rebounds and 4 blocks and international guard Dora Medgyessy (174-86) who added 16 points and 10 assists during the contest. Four Miskolc players scored in double figures. Miskolc's coach felt very confident using 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side center Zsofia Jahni (188-99) responded with 10 points and Croatian center Emilija Podrug (190-79) scored 9 points. Miskolc moved-up to third place. Loser PINKK-Pecsi still closes the standings with three games lost. Miskolc will have a break next round. PINKK-Pecsi will play on the road against ZTE NKK (#5) in Zalaegerszeg and hopes to get finally their first victory.
