BEAC-Ujbuda has registered their first victory this season after two consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat MTK (0-2) 65-60. It was a very good performance for Dora Szabo (171-95) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Klaudia Papp (168-95) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Flora Szabo (187-92) replied with 16 points and 7 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and swingman Janka Hegedus (185-94, college: FIU) added 12 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for MTK. MTK's coach Nagy Dora rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. BEAC-Ujbuda (1-2) left bottom position moving up to eighth place. MTK at the other side still closes the standings with two games lost. BEAC-Ujbuda's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Budapest to the arena NKE-Csata.
