Regular Season Round 4: Massagno - Neuchatel 60-73

Date: October 21, 2018
An interesting game was also tough home defeat of 4th ranked Massagno in a game versus Neuchatel (#7) 73-60. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Massagno. It was a key game for the top position in the league. They outrebounded Massagno 38-26 including a 31-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by the former international forward Westher Molteni (200-87) who scored that evening 15 points and American swingman Isaiah Williams (201-92, college: Iona) supported him with 3 points and 14 rebounds. Neuchatel's coach Niksa Bavcevic let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even a double-double of 18 points and 13 rebounds by naturalized Senegalese power forward Jules Aw (202-86) did not help to save the game for Massagno. American swingman Keon Moore (196-92, college: Winthrop, agency: Two Points) added 13 points for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Neuchatel (3-1) keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Massagno dropped to the seventh place with two games lost. Neuchatel will meet Starwings (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Massagno will play against Monthey and hope to secure a win.
