Regular Season Round 6: Spartak SP-2 - Enisey-2 87-68

Bottom-ranked Enisey-2 (0-6) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 87-68 loss to ninth ranked Spartak SP-2 (2-4) in Sankt Petersburg on Wednesday evening. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 16-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 87-68. Spartak SP-2 made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Enisey-2's players. The best player for the winners was guard Nikita Tikhonov (190-99) who scored 27 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Grigoriy Komisarenko (198-98) chipped in 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Spartak SP-2's coach Nikolay Shmanov used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Danil Dergachev (185-98) who recorded 25 points and 5 rebounds and forward Danil Pazdnikov (198-98) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Spartak SP-2 maintains ninth position with 2-4 record. Loser Enisey-2 still closes the standings with six games lost. Spartak SP-2 will face league's leader CSKA Junior in Moscow in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Enisey-2 will play on the road against Zenit-2 (#4) in Sankt Petersburg and hopes to get finally their first victory.
