Regular Season Round 6: ZTE NKK - Atomeromu 75-67

The most important game in the last round took place in Zalaegerszeg between second ranked Atomeromu (4-2) and fifth ranked ZTE NKK (5-2) on Sunday night. Atomeromu was defeated by ZTE NKK in a tough game on the road 67-75. It was a key game for the second position in the league. It was a good game for American center Nadia Parker (191-87, college: USC) who led her team to a victory with 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). The former international center Dora Horti (193-87) contributed with 11 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Parker is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American forward Erica McCall (190-95, college: Stanford, agency: ProDep Management) replied with 16 points and 6 rebounds and international point guard Agnes Studer (168-98, agency: Interperformances) added 13 points and 7 assists in the effort for Atomeromu. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. ZTE NKK have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Atomeromu at the other side dropped to the fourth position with two games lost. They share it with Miskolc and PEAC-Pecs. ZTE NKK are looking forward to face PEAC-Pecs (#6) on the road in the next round. Atomeromu will play against UNI Gyor and is hoping to win this game.
