Not a big story in a game in Krasnodar where 7th ranked Unics-2 (4-4) was defeated by fifth ranked Lokomotiv-2 (6-2) 79-64. The game was mostly controlled by Lokomotiv-2. Unics-2 was better in fourth quarter 18-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Andrey Matyuk (206-0) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. Center Maxim Minchenkov (210-98) contributed with 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Lokomotiv-2 players scored in double figures. Vadim Kudinov (194-98, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) replied with 17 points and center Semen Pinaev (208-99) added 7 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Unics-2. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Lokomotiv-2 have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Zenit-2. Unics-2 at the other side keeps the seventh position with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
