Regular Season Round 9: TEMP-SUMZ-UMMC - Burevestnik 76-71

There was no surprise in Revda where 13th ranked Burevestnik (2-6) was defeated by second ranked Temp (7-1) 76-71 on Saturday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Burevestnik was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Aleksandr Gankevich (201-95) who scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Fedor Klyuchnikov (192-90) chipped in 12 points and 5 assists. Temp's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Anton Ageev (191-84) who recorded 24 points and 6 rebounds and forward Vladimir Belov (207-84) added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Four Burevestnik players scored in double figures. Temp keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Spartak SP. Newly promoted Burevestnik dropped to the fifteenth place with six games lost. Temp will face Ural Ekaterinburg (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Burevestnik will play against Zenit-Farm (#16) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
