An interesting game was also tough home defeat of 4th ranked Lugano Tigers in a game versus Massagno (#7) 89-76. Massagno outrebounded Lugano Tigers 40-23 including 26 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for naturalized Senegalese power forward Jules Aw (202-86) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard James Sinclair (194-93, college: W.Carolina) accounted for 24 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side. American forward Steven Green (196-93, college: Oklah.Baptist) came up with 25 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import guard Xavier Pollard (193-91, college: Kent St.) added 16 points, 9 assists and 4 steals respectively for Lugano Tigers in the defeat. Massagno (4-3) moved-up to fifth place. Lugano Tigers lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with Boncourt. Massagno will meet bottom-ranked Starwings (#11) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Lugano Tigers will play against Swiss Central (#10) in Luzern and hope to secure a win.
