The game in Paralimni was also quite interesting. 6th ranked Omonia (2-4) played at the court of seventh ranked E.N. Paralimni (3-3). E.N. Paralimni defeated Omonia 87-76 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Omonia. American-Nigerian Mike Balogun (195-91, college: Arkansas Tech) notched 27 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and American guard James Daniel-III (183-94, college: Tennessee) supported him with 12 points and 5 assists. Four E.N. Paralimni players scored in double figures. Even 25 points, 5 assists and 4 steals by American guard Jarvis Garrett (183-95, college: Rhode Island) did not help to save the game for Omonia. His fellow American import power forward KenDarrius Hamilton (206-96, college: Tennessee St.) added 16 points and 11 rebounds. E.N. Paralimni moved-up to third place, which they share with Apoel and AEL. Newly promoted Omonia dropped to the bottom position with four games lost. They share it with Apollon and Etha. E.N. Paralimni will meet league's leader Keravnos in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Omonia will play against the league's second-placed AEK Larnaca (#2) and hope to secure a win.
