Regular Season Round 8: Szolnok - Alba 73-63

A Division top team - Szolnok (7-1) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat fifth ranked Alba (4-3) 73-63. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Alba. Worth to mention a quality performance of international swingman David Vojvoda (196-90) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 9 rebounds and Serbian forward Strahinja Milosevic (203-85) who added 21 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. American guard Allerik Freeman (190-94, college: NC State) responded with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import guard Jacobi Boykins (198-95, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: Pensack Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Szolnok have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 7-1 record. Alba at the other side keeps the fifth place with three games lost. They share the position with Falco-Vulcano and JP-Auto JKSE. Szolnok will play against league's second-placed PVSK-Veolia in Pecs in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Alba will play on the road against Kaposvari and hopes to get back on the winning track.
