Very significant was Etha's (#7) 83-74 road victory against 6th ranked Apollon. Etha shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Trevin Parks (180-91, college: Johnson C. Smith) who led the winners and scored 16 points and 8 assists. His fellow American import forward Dustin Thomas (203-95, college: Arkansas) accounted for 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Etha's coach Hadi Elhajj allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Cameron Naylor (201-94, college: Texas St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and Lithuanian guard Dovydas Redikas (192-92) added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Apollon in the defeat. Five Apollon players scored in double figures. Etha (3-4) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with AEL and E.N. Paralimni. Apollon lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. They share it with Omonia.
