The most interesting game of round 7 was a home defeat of 5th ranked AEL (3-4) by third ranked Apoel (4-3) who outscored them by 15 points 70-55 in the game for the third place. It was a great evening for American Keaton Grant (193-86, college: Purdue) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 4 steals (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). His fellow American import forward Jake OBrien (206-89, college: Temple, agency: HMS) helped adding 7 points and 11 rebounds. At the losing side Jamaican forward Kentan Facey (206-93, college: Connecticut, agency: Inception Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks and American forward Dion Wright (201-93, college: St.Bonaventure) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Apoel maintains third place with 4-3 record having just two points less than leader Keravnos. Newly promoted AEL dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with Etha and E.N. Paralimni.
