Regular Season Round 7: BBC Troist. - Pully 86-52

Bottom-ranked Pully (0-6) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 86-52 loss to fifth ranked BBC Troist. (2-4) in Troistorrents on Saturday evening. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Pully's 32. BBC Troist. forced 25 Pully turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Pully's players. It was a great evening for the former international guard Safie Tolusso (178-97, college: Rider) who led her team to a victory scoring 15 points and 8 rebounds. Hungarian center Andrea Hajdune (196-82, college: Kent St.) helped adding 15 points and 5 rebounds. BBC Troist.'s coach Antoine Mantey felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American forward Carolee Dillard (188-94, college: UALR) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import power forward Madeline Manning (188-93) scored 8 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. BBC Troist. maintains fifth place with 2-4 record. Pully lost their sixth game in a row. They still close the standings with six games lost. BBC Troist. will meet higher ranked Riva (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Pully will have a break next round.
