Regular Season Round 10: Massagno - Pully 83-50

Date: December 1, 2018
Very expected game when 10th ranked Pully (2-7) was smashed on the road by fourth ranked Massagno (7-3) 83-50 on Saturday. Massagno made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Massagno outrebounded Pully 41-25 including a 32-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Naturalized Senegalese power forward Jules Aw (202-86) notched a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds to lead the effort and American guard James Sinclair (194-93, college: W.Carolina) supported him with 10 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals. Even 12 points and 5 rebounds by American guard Jonathan Wade (196-93, college: Norfolk St.) did not help to save the game for Pully. His fellow American import guard Anton Wilson (196-94, college: Detroit Mercy) added 10 points and 5 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Massagno have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Pully lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with seven games lost. Massagno will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Pully will play against Lakers (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
