Regular Season Round 10: Sencur Gor. - Vienna 94-66

The game between closely ranked teams ended with third ranked Slovenian Sencur Gor.'s (2-3) home victory over one of their biggest challengers Austrian Hallmann (0-5) 94-66 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Sencur Gor.. Hallmann was better in third quarter 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Hallmann 42-31 including 17 on the offensive glass. Sencur Gor. looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Power forward Dino Muric (201-90) fired a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Power forward Smiljan Pavic (210-80) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Sencur Gor. players scored in double figures. American power forward David Haughton (198-91, college: Purchase) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and guard Paul Radakovics (191-88) added 19 points respectively for lost side. Sencur Gor. maintains third position with 2-3 record having just three points less than leader GTK Gliwice. Loser Hallmann still closes the standings with five games lost. Sencur Gor. will have a break next round. Hallmann will play on the road against the league's leader GTK (#1) in Gliwice and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
