Very expected game in Krasnodar where 12th ranked Dynamo-MGTU (3-9) was defeated by seventh ranked Lok.Kuban KRS (5-6) 81-74. It was a great shooting night for Lok.Kuban KRS especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Ilya Platonov (200-98, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) who helped to win the game recording 18 points. Center Valeriy Alekseev (210-94, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) contributed with 9 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Lok.Kuban KRS's coach Roman Semerinov allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Ukrainian center Nikolay Eremin (205-85) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and guard Maksim Abyzov (191-90) added 19 points in the effort for Dynamo-MGTU. Newly promoted Lok.Kuban KRS maintains seventh place with 5-6 record. Dynamo-MGTU at the other side keeps the twelfth position with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
